What's up with GDC?

Thanks. It worked! BTW, when I compile a simple project with your 
simpledisplay it takes up around 300MB(for ldc, 400 for dmd) and 
uses about 15% cpu. Basically just a modified example that draws 
some images which maybe take up 20MB total. Any ideas why it's 
taking up so much space and cpu? What's it doing on your machine?
