If I remember correctly, there used to be a comparison chart in the 
digitalmars website that made D look better than all other languages. I 
made a new version http://pastehtml.com/view/1bkw27w.html -- feel free to 
correct any errors. The main idea was to give some idea of the features 
there could be in D.
