I've never thought of this. I did have a couple of failed fans over
the years but I always had a bunch of spares from the older equipment
which I've replaced. Still, that is a cool tip, thanks!

And yes, avoid cheap PSU's or at least get one from a good
manufacturer. It's also important to have a PSU that can actually
power your PC.
