You mean why are they attractive to "the masses"? Um, because they have 
been designed to reel-in the masses (sheeple)? Where the masses are, I am 
not. Professional sports are a waste of time, IMO, but the masses love 
them, surely web forums are for "sports fans". They got you by the ring 
you let them put through you nose. Web forums are content scrapers. It's 
easy to steal from the masses because it is done in micro-amounts of 
value. Try to have your posts taken down from a web forum, I dare you.

Everyone is on the make or on the take. Web forums are on the make.
