Er, I believe I posted an example of just that :-)

I'm entirely open to the possibility of reworking the 'uniform' function so that 
its bounds are indicated in a different way, but it _is_ something that 
currently occurs in D code (albeit not frequently).

I can live with you not addressing my irritation :-)  But since we're discussing 
how to improve Ddoc, I thought it best to make sure that my issues with it were 
well described and understood.
