There's a big difference between compiling a few lines of code, and
building a project with particular requirements, dependencies on various
foreign libs, cross language linkage, etc.

Ldc does a valiant effort, but there are still quite a lot of gaps.
I can't hold that against them, the whole dmd community needs to take
gdc/ldc as first class considerations.
