But the change log does not contradict the documentation... It 
says that exceptions/STL are not shipped in the system runtime, 
but has to be embedded in the app bundle.

Anyway, it does not matter. The point was only that it was for 
historic reasons, and that supporting exceptions are part of the 
available platform.
