I notice that Homebrew knows how to download 2.100.1 though:

getting it from 
https://github.com/dlang/dmd/archive/v2.100.1.tar.gz

Speaking of Github, notice the "Used by (1) @thechampagne / LoL" 
on the right hand side, between Pcakages and Contributors? That's 
some github abuse from 
https://github.com/thechampagne/LoL/blob/main/go.mod
