[MudWalker] Prompt Corruption

Can someone tell me why, almost every time I get a lot of text coming through from a MUSH, that some of it gets caught in the MudWalker prompt? I get a little tired of having to:
a) figure out where the text came from and how it fits in
b) reset the prompt maybe two or three times a session.

Is this the MUSH I'm using, my system or a known problem. 

Is there a cure for it?
