Right now, what's the most important for the success and adoption of D?

(1) Stability. New releases are not going to break existing code.
(2) Continuity. There will be compilers, linkers and other tools existing
and maintained for the next 5-10 years.
(3) Commerical Ability. I would want to be able to use commercial and
open-source third party systems: databases (especiialy these), GUI, IDE,
Debuggers, internet protocols (low and high level), etc ... I do not want
to have to write these from scratch or to write 'connectivity' code.
(4) Third Party Libraries. Especially those applicable to the industry that
I'm targetting my software for. Such as Finance, Banking, Manufacturing,
CRM, Accounting, Inventory, Purchasing, General Ledger, ...
(5) Training. That there exists, outside of DigitalMars, material and
courses that can educate my team in all aspects of D, from beginners to
advanced.
(6) Community. A vibrant community of peers that my team could relate to
and particpate in. Face-to-Face contact is an essential ingredient in
making these work.
And these are just a few of my favourite things :-)
