What about using gtk instead of qt?
GtkD is, according to their homepage ( 
http://www.dsource.org/projects/gtkd ) and 
http://www.prowiki.org/wiki4d/wiki.cgi?GuiLibraries stable and usable.
BTW: the quotation style of your email/ng-client is strange.
