It already has as much as it will.
Jonathan is correct its a hard thing to put into practice.
I've watched over many years reviewers of dlang repositories to get
people to simplify their code and eliminate such opportunities for problems.
The reason code quality books like these exist is because what they talk
about is hard and less than desirably understood. Or just outright
opinion only.
Educating people not familiar with this subject is what is currently
missing.
