There was a long reply to this question, but it is more of an ad-hoc technical
implementation discussion not relevant to the this list.

So I have sent my (long) reply directly to Martin.

If anyone else is interested in seeing the thread, please let me know and I
will make sure you see all the messages.

I will try to spot anything which would be of general interest to the list and
